Dr Steve Martin qualified from the University of Dundee, in Scotland in 2000. Since then he has gained experience working in both a hospital and practice setting in the UK and in Australia. Steve has undertaken a variety of postgraduate education, including Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College in London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Dental Care at the University of Edinburgh, and a Master’s Degree in Endodontics, (root canal treatment) at the University of Central Lancashire. His main interests within dentistry are in Root Canal Treatment and Restorative Dentistry and he enjoys providing patient’s with the highest possible standard of care while ensuring that their experience is as pleasant and stress free as possible. Outside work Steve enjoys training for and taking part in Triathlons, playing tennis, and surfing, as well as spending time with his wife and 2 young daughters. Steve is also an Honorary Teaching Fellow at The University of Edinburgh working as a Tutor on the Distance Learning Primary Dental Care MSc programme.
